Dr. Jenny French, ThinkCERCA’s Director of Foundational Literacy, and Caitlin Vagedes, School Success Manager for Cincinnati Public Schools and Ohio, will explore national literacy trends and the urgent need for effective support in Ohio. They will discuss common reading deficits among students in grades 6-12 and share research-backed strategies for addressing them.
The session will conclude with a Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask Dr. French about best practices, implementation challenges, and ways to support struggling readers across Ohio.
