This must be at the core of each and every student’s curriculum and educational journey. More than ever, it is imperative that Black, Indigenous, and all non-white students of color see themselves represented in the materials they interact with. More so, it is crucial that today’s students engage with texts and tasks that encourage them to think critically about the world around them and that promote courageous conversations.
Implementing and cultivating the curriculum and culture that create these opportunities for students is not a simple task. In fact, it requires ongoing commitment, open mindedness, and collective accountability measures.
In this webinar, you will discover how to best foster the inclusive and equitable learning environment that your students deserve, from the curriculum they engage with to the culture that persists at every level of your school or district.
