Meet the Presenters

Dr. Epps retired as the former Principal of Lake Worth Community High School in the School District of Palm Beach, Florida. He is the former principal of Florida State University Developmental Research Schools located in Tallahassee, Florida. FSUS is a nationally recognized school (472 according to Newsweek 2013 and 382 according to Niche.com in 2014).

Dr. Epps is the author of his new book “New Principal, No Problem: How to Lead a Winning Culture Without Losing Your Mind.” 

His specialty is in Educational and Organizational Leadership and he has been a keynote and motivational speaker at various school districts, state, and national conferences. He was recognized by the Central Florida YMCA as an outstanding Black Achiever for the volunteer community service with families and youth in the Central Florida area.

He has been the special guest speaker on Oprah and Friends XM radio programs and guest panelist at the American Association for Colleges of Teacher Education in Washington, DC. He is the author of two books, "You Make the Difference: Educate, Motivate, Celebrate!" and "Teaching with Passion and Purpose."

Dr. Epps conducts district and school-based leadership presentations and workshops on organizational effectiveness and people management. He is a certified Executive Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with the John Maxwell Group.

She is also an NCTE author and a Pahara Aspen Fellow.
